PROVIDING WELLNESS CARE FOR BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT
 A safe space that gives you time to calm your mind
 Knowledgeable touch that encourages you to meet the stresses and worries of life with ease
 Allowing muscular and physical pain to decrease
 An opportunity to reconnect with your self at all levels

BENEFITS OF A COMMUNITY STYLE CLINIC
(Or treatments offered in a communal group setting)
With a number of people receiving care in proximity to one another, a greater energy is generated in the room or space. The individual treatment becomes part of the greater whole, and so the benefit is magnified. (This experience is known to all of us from being in church, in an audience for a concert or speech, or even at an informal gathering of friends.)

A session in a community clinic will take around 20-30 minutes. That treatment is enhanced by the presence of the other clients receiving their treatments as well as the presence of the other practitioners. Everyone is in a state of deep relaxation, prayer or meditation.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT OPEN HANDS WELLNESS CLINIC
Each time you arrive you will have the opportunity to experience one of several therapies depending on the practitioners present. All sessions are grounded in a wellness protocol that helps promote the overall wellness of each client. All of our practitioners are licensed or certified.

Please note: As a group, the practitioners hold each client in collective care. You will see different practitioners in your visits to the clinic and receive different styles of care. Rather than a first-come, first-serve basis, we operate on a “triage” basis, so sometimes your wait may be longer than others. In the event you refuse a particular therapy offered you will be placed back into the wait list for that day.

Sanctuary stations are available in the clinic area. If you would like to take some time for quiet personal reflection, guided meditation or prayer during your time at the clinic, you are welcome to use the sanctuary stations.

Seated Yoga is also offered as part of your clinic experience.

PRACTITIONERS are trained in a variety of massage, bodywork and acupuncture styles but each is designed for relaxation and taking you from the “fight or flight” nervous system response to a relaxation response. Most clients find that this also reduces pain and discomfort at both physical and mental levels.

Reported outcomes of acupuncture and bodywork therapies include but are not limited to: better sleep, less anxiety, better coping with stress, less pain both physical and emotional, and an overall sense of well being.

ACUPUNCTURE: The 5 needle ear “NADA” protocol we use is based on an ancient healing practice that is 5000 years old. This simple protocol affects the whole energy system of the body, and thereby the body, mind, and spirit all together. Whether a person is suffering from physical problems or emotional issues, the treatment will be absorbed as needed by each individual.

All clinic sessions are free, provided by volunteer practitioners. We gratefully accept donations to meet the expense of clinic operations. Checks may be made payable to Empty Vessels Healing Ministry. Donations are tax deductible.
